Our Hazel

Our Hazel's worrying us a little at the moment.  She has gone off her normal food.  This may well be because she'll very soon be coming into season.  Or some kind of bug?  I think if she's not better in a day or two we'll take her down to the vet, but the truth is, if she's offered treats and cooked chicken she will eat it with relish and spend the next 10 minutes licking her lips.  Hmm!

Anyway, a small specialist animal feed shop has just opened in town so I went in there today and talked to the owner.  She sent me away with lots of samples of different food.  We opened the first lot, mixed it with chicken and gave it to Hazel.  The bowl was quickly emptied.  So, fingers crossed!

Apart from that, it's been a dark damp day.  Of course Hazel has had her walk, but here she is looking a little fed up at the sodden garden.  It is a dog's life, for sure!
