Always pays to practice

Big step forward in making my e-Uke... finally finished a "blank" to test out the design.  This one is in pine.  The final instrument will be made from a block of yew I got at the local wood festival.  The wood is totally unfinished, so definitely some rough edges...

If you know anything about ukuleles you'll have spotted the lack of a fret board.  Still to make that... or perhaps I'll leave it fret-less :)

Now if only I'd left enough space in the stock to fit a wireless audio adapter...
