Next year's beech leaves in waiting

We've had some rain and some sun today. I think there's more rain on the way. After a quick dash to Edinburgh this morning a decent local walk while it's dry. Back home now. I'm the subject of some 'IT gremlins' which are holding up my writing. I was going to get cracking this afternoon but I'm at a disadvantage. So I think I'll have a cup of tea instead.

Thank you to everyone who kindly commented yesterday. The patient got home in one piece and has seen a shoulder specialist at her local hospital today. Surgery is on hold for a couple of weeks of 'wait and see'. A hefty sling and heftier painkillers have been prescribed. What a thing.

So sorry I'm not getting round to your journals much. Life is busy.
