Fall drive 2012

We try a fall drive or a fall trip every year, usually the first weekend in October. It is one of our favorite yearly events. This year things were too busy for a fall getaway, so we settled on a Sunday afternoon drive. We found some new backroads, and some gorgeous fall colors.

Unfortunately, it was also about 40 degrees and raining. And, unfortunately, we had one little one who just came home from a 2 day sleepover and would have much rather have stayed home. Also unfortunately, we had another little one who was woken up WAY too early by the cat. But, in spite of cold, wet, rainy weather and 2 overly tired kiddos, it was still a very nice day out.
