Kids and Kids at the Fair

We're at the Sandwich Fair, an annual event in Center Sandwich, New Hampshire, the town next to where we are staying with our friends from France (Nine was wearing a wonderful shawl she had knitted herself, and she was complimented repeatedly by passersby--I'll try to blip it before they leave). We had a great time.

This is the pen with young animals where children can directly mix with them. The children can offer small amounts of grain, which accounts for the forward approach of the young goat (called a kid) in the right foreground. Not a striking image perhaps, but I love that it includes a large number of actors, each appearing distinctly.
