Community-based disaster management committee (CDMC) is a methodology to develop the dimensions of communities to measure their vulnerability to both human induced and natural hazards and build strategies, resources essential to avoid or mitigate the impact of identified hazards.

Today, Community-based disaster management committee (CDMC) meeting was organized by lumanti support group for shelters at Chapabot, ward no.1, sankharapur municipality. After those meetings I find out most energetic participations were engage to distribute their time for community developments and to learn something different that can change the society and acknowledge of capacity to reduce vulnerability.
