So rich

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former

It’s a frosty, sunny morning. Claire and I wander round the place, since neither of us have been here for a couple of weeks. I clean out the chickens - that are looking splendid.

We meet Angus in Penicuik for lunch at the Italian next to Tesco’s. He’s late, and his phone is out of battery. Of course.

After a very pleasant meal, Angus and I spend a frustrating hour in TKMaxx looking for a jacket. In the end we leave with a bundle of socks instead and head for town.

The next joy is replacing a couple of light bulbs in his flat. They’ve been dead for a couple of weeks at least, and so far all they’ve managed to do is buy a bulb with the wrong fitting. Both bulb holders are broken - one is unusable. Another visit is going to be needed.
