Last day of winter

The last day of the polar air before we return to the Atlantic fronts this week.  This time last year we had a good cover of snow on the fells then the rest of the winter went mild and nondescript.

This is the view eastwards from Hampsfell.  The lump on the horizon is Ingleborough.
