all these phrases - and more - wove their way through my head... as i watched bees dance among the very last shreds - remnants really - of flowers out front of my house... they were not daunted by the cold, crisp air - the wind blowing at them - or me sticking my camera in their faces... on they marched with a single purpose - one goal - so focused - very determined to harvest every last drop possible before pollen season concludes... there is nothing to do but admire such fortitude -

for me, this spring/summer has been more than full of bee sightings - i've posted a lot of bee shots due to the sheer fascination i've had with them... those fuzzy furry little bodies with cool iridescent wings - i'm not apologizing for it... merely pointing out an interesting fact as i looked back - taking note - saw how many pics there were - and realized bees in every shape, size, pose - will always make for...
