Covered in Calamine
Robin and I are laying in bed feeling Bump's 11pm show at the end of a very lovely but very busy weekend.
We woke up at Rob's mum's feeling a little under the weather- Robin with his asthma and me with backache, acid reflux and worst of all - itching like crazy. My first trimester plague has returned with a vengeance and this time it's everywhere. My stomach, chest, thighs, arms and now face all itch like crazy.
Still, we went to Coventry to say hello to Robin's godparents. I'd not met them before so it was nice to be introduced. They were lovely and despite being 87 years old, couldn't do enough for us.
We then popped into Leamington to pick up a pregnancy pillow (out of stock) and today's blip star- something, anything, to help relieve the itching, before heading back to Barford for a Sunday dinner with Rob's mum, nan, sister, nephew and step dad.
We left at around 5:30 and, after dropping off Rob's nan in Kenilworth , started to make good time back to London- so good that when Paul called to let me know I'd left my iPad behind, we agreed to go without for a fortnight just to avoid an extra hour's round trip.
After that, I have no idea what happened as I conked out :) We were home at 7:30pm where a bath, cornflakes in hot milk, calamine lotion, and episode 1, series 2 of Homeland were waiting!
