A walk on the wind farm

This lovely autumnal day demanded we went out somewhere for a walk. My, partners brother, (Uncle) Johnny, joined us for brunch at the house before we set out for Whitelee. Not far south of Glasgow, Whitelee is Europe's largest wind farm. Open to the public, it has over 70 kms of trails, which today were very busy with families, people walking their dogs and cycling.
Whilst busy taking photos, I fell behind and Johnny, Katie and my son had taken the lead. As I caught up, I paused to take a photo of them, caught in this somewhat surreal landscape . Whilst not being the most impressive shot I got today (there are great photo opps abound here) I feel this one captures best what today was about; a beautiful day shared with family.
