Morning light

I was awake very early this morning.

I watched the sky to see if the sunrise looked worthy of getting out of bed.

The day crept in quietly without any fuss, no amazing colours, no dramatic clouds....

By 7am, I decided, colours or no colours, it was too beautiful a morning to miss so I set off for the beach - the dogs could hardly believe their luck!

Neither could the rest of the family when I cam home with croissants for breakfast!
