The annual Elders' Banquet was held today (well, technically, yesterday, it's after midnight in France) and they were offered a show - in which I took part with my choir group. We were among the first to appear onstage and sang songs by Claude Nougaro (who adapted gospels into French, such as Let My People Go) and actual gospels. I got to sing solo for a while!
