The White Hart

Closed just over a year ago and before that, Tripadvisor users thought it - OK I think it’s fair to say. I suspect in common with many other locals, I hadn’t been through it’s doors for many years. The owners had applied for a change of use to residential, which brought widespread objection and I can understand the principle of retaining a high street even in a small town such as this solely as retail.

For now at least, we have neither and I expect the windows will remain boarded for some time to come.
