Practising dark backgrounds

I'm doing a fine art flower photography course alongside #ayearwithmycamera
It's difficult at this time of year with limited natural light indoors. I've set up a mini studio in the loft bedroom that I can use, but I'm limited to the weekends as it is dark when I leave for work and almost dark when I get home.
I'm enjoying this kind of photography as it's something I have not done before.
I'm also getting to grips with using Lightroom and Photoshop which I love. Shooting in RAW has also been a revelation. Happy days
