A great morning at the Outdoor Swimming Session at the Town Hall in Kendal, with films and talks ranging from a couple swimming from Kentmere reservoir down the River Kent to the sea, discussion about the early "suffragette swimmers" who made the pastime acceptable for women, and prose and poetry about the freedom and benefits of wild water swimming.
(The blip is of a table decoration in the cafe - that's a pipe cleaner figure with his woollen belay - and it's all uphill from Blackpool!)
