Sunbeams on Hoy, again (Day 926)

We had a late start this morning, and wandered up the hill in sunshine. The big news of the day was that it wasn't blowing a gale. In fact, it wasn't even slightly breezy. Hurrah! Such a pleasant change.
We pottered around the house for the rest of the morning, before an early-ish lunch and trip out with the dogs. Mybeautiful wife and I left the car at the Stromness reservoir and followed a rough track down to Billiacrue and on to the shore where we wandered along to Breckness and followed a track back the road and then up over the hill to the reservoir. A four mile wander in the sunshine was perfect. We even found a few groatie buckies along the way.
