Touch of frost.

There was a heavy frost this morning leading to great blue skies and sunshine.

I toured the garden and whilst the grass remained white and crisp the sun had started to melt the frost from the plants.
I was surprised to find this Welsh poppy which was no doubt surprised to be caught by the frost.

I liked the way the flower had crinkled and had just a sprinkling of frost on it's crown.
