The Lake

Went to the Farmer's Market this morning and got some fresh veges and the fish truck had some grouper cheeks, also got some fig preserves because I'm not sure my fig trees are ever going to produce figs without the birds and squirrels eating them.  It was a beauty of day and headed down to the lake which was very active today.   Spotted this Snowy Egret resting,  one ugly duck,  a great Blue Heron and lots of birds just swimming along.

The grandson had their last playoff game and unfortunately lost today but they all came over after and we had ribs, taters  and salad and sat in front of the bonfire.  Couldn't ask for a better day all around!
