Last evening

Dad returns home tomorrow but we haven't concentrated on that today, instead we've enjoyed time together and had a slow day.

We went to friends to watch delayed coverage of the rugby. Scotland came so close and deserved to win.

Tomorrow someone from the Fire Service is coming to assess and install more smoke alarms. Only one alarm 3 metres from the bedrooms is requires for compliance and that's not ideal. The alarms the Fire Service use aren't working as well as they should so we went went to Mitre10 to buy some. A bag of gypsum will help break down my hard soil. First I need to dig 3 holes and that will be a challenge.

Back at home we had coffee outside under the sun umbrella followed by lunch. Dad had a sleep while I created 2 calendars online.

We skyped with one of my neices and then wandered over to Pedal Pushers for a light dinner and a glass of pino gris. Dad likes the cycling theme and chose the old bike for our photo this evening.
