Although I'm spending a couple of days in London, I was trying not to do the sights of central London that I've seen a dozen times already. The DLR took me to a station called 'Abbey Road' and I considered getting off the train to try & find the studios. Good thing I didn't as when I googled it later that the nearest tube to THAT Abbey Road was St John's Wood, probably 10 miles or so across the city.
I was glad I don't have to drive down Abbey Road, the drivers must get so frustrated with crowds of people waiting to have their photo taken on the crossing a la The Beatles.
PS, did you know that the studios were opened by Edward Elgar on 12th November 1931? No? Neither did I, but I found out today due to the wonders of geocaching.
