After the Show

Or, in this case, after the concert.
It was concert day for John, whereas I was in the audience not having to worry about wrong notes or watching the conductor. The music chosen was fearfully difficult and I was glad to be listening rather than singing.
The venue was the auditorium of a newly built local senior school - very comfortable and warm but the acoustics were very flat, which didn't enhance the performance. An enjoyable evening though. An extra of the choir.
I'm in at Waddesdon tomorrow so it will be interesting to hear the effects from yesterday's nearby air accident.
