New Twist on Old Game

The sleepover guests have been fantastic. All the kids have played and laughed and squealed their way through the day. The Husband decided to herd walk them up to the Coinsave shop and buy some water balloons, and normal balloons this morning. The Eldest and her pal spent a couple of hours having water bomb fights, and then the Husband decided to fill up some regular balloons for this game, which is to Avoid the Bomb. Straight after this snap, the Eldest was got by this bomb...SPLOOSH all over her.

After they had finished up and were blue with cold, I chucked them in a hot bubbly bath where they spent the next hour. The Youngest and her pal spent the morning playing lots of imaginary play games. They're hilarious, as they're not really into pink and princesses at the moment, they're both vampires...probably due to Hotel Transylvania ("blah blblah!"). Thankfully it wasn't a full moon last night, or else they'd have to have sucked our blood.

The wind picked up a bit, so we took the kites to the park and had a bit of a go with them. I don't think anyone was ready to go home when parents arrived to collect them.
