Friday: La Casa Gelata

More meetings with my big boss this morning.

After work, K. and I rendezvoused with H and J, and another couple of their friends, for something to eat on Commercial Dr. From there we headed off to the East Van Culture Crawl where artists open up their studios to the public. It was great - we did it last year too.

Once we had had a good look there we went to get some ice cream at La Casa Gelata where they have over 200 flavours. There was also excitement while we were there as we watched three cars being towed away for blocking the train tracks - not before the train had sat for 20 minutes, blocking all the various crossings. Someone (or some three) is going to have a pretty hefty fine.
