Show Day Races

The morning started off really lovely and sunny and it got warm. Then around lunch time the wind changed to southerly which cooled things down a bit. The only rain I saw was early evening and it was only a few spots. 

We went out to lunch then went along to the races at Addington. It was a family day meeting today. The Kids Kart racing was interesting and you can see the winner in the middle of this collage.

The sky looked stormy but luckily the rain stayed away. The only thing that gave us a bit of a shake up.. wasn't the fire alarm this time, it was a earthquake. A 4.2 and it did wobble a bit for a while.

I got a wonderful surprise when John said we would go into the city for a meal after the races. Good way to end the day.
