Golden Wedding Anniversary Walk

Today it is 50 years since we were married. It was also a Friday. We took Aled and Steve out for a tour of Northumberland. We started at Holy Island, getting back over the causeway before it was covered by the tide. Our next stop was Bamburgh where we had a quick walk on the beach before driving in to Newton by the Sea where we had soup and a stottie for lunch. Then it was Craster for a short walk to view Dunstanburgh in the distance - by then the sun had come out though it was still chilly.
We dropped them off at Barter Books in Alnwick while we bought some supplies at Lidl. You can’t have too much champagne at a Golden Wedding party.
