More Surprises

Dear Diary,

Being in the hospital is always a stressful event but seeing a sweet lady bring these lovely flowers into my room made me smile right out loud!

I got up for two walks yesterday but my goal today is three. I am now able to get myself out of bed without assistance and that is a very good thing. They say I might be able to have solid food today...hooray! I haven't had food for three days.

I so appreciate all your kind comments. It makes the long, long days in here bareable. The pain has subsided a bit and that is cause for even more hoorays!
