Big Breakfast

An egret pulled out a nice size fish out of the marsh pond for breakfast this morning.

And yes, he did manage to get it down but was first forced to fly off with it to a more secure dining area due to the amount of attention he attracted from others who wanted the fish for themselves.

Lucky egret, that should fill him up for a while. :-)

We also saw a November alligator out doing a slow cruise across the marsh.
