Another night at the Victorian gothic Bagshaw Museum.

Tonight Matthew Bellwood of Creative Scene treated us to two chilling tales performed in candlelight.


Lost Hearts – M.R. James’s grisly account of black magic in the Midlands.
The Shadow – Edith Nesbitt’s haunting saga of thwarted love.

There was also the opportunity to explore the museum at night with an eerie female figure moving silently among the Egyptian artefacts, birds of prey and other pieces from the museum collection.
