Inspired!

Four years ago, before she became an amazing teacher in her own right, the woman on the left supported me when teaching English. We had a brilliant group and we taught In Mrs Tilscher's Class, by Carol Ann Duffy!

This evening, I was privileged enough to be invited by my colleague to an event which allowed me to meet our Poet Laureate and a literary hero of  mine.She read some of my very favourites, including one my daughter had studied this week and said it reminded her of me .

Surrounded by generations of inspiring women - how lovely!
