Christmas Fayre

Aberdeen's Christmas Fayre opens tomorrow. Last minute preparations were under way to get everything ready for the opening. As well as a couple of fairground attractions there will be stalls selling stuff.

At Union Square the seasonal offering is already under way. I had a bratwurst from an "Austrian" style enclosure. For some reason they never taste quite the same as they do in the Germanic parts of Switzerland, Austria, etc. I was tempted to sample one of the beers, but I will keep that treat for next time. I will of course have another bratwurst as well, even if they are not quite as good as the "real" thing.

The clear blue sky meant it was very cold.
