Fish scales on the fish market...

... well it's no longer the fish market but the fish scale shaped slates are still there.

Another plumber arrived today and stayed a lot longer than the last one but his conclusion was still the same as mine; there was nothing wrong with the plumbing and it was a wiring problem. He said he'd go back and tell Mac and I agreed to set all the thermostats to 24 hour heat and see what happened.

In the evening I went for a fantastic team building meal with a couple of the U3A media sub committee.
