The cross on the church gate

St Brendan's church, Clodiagh, Co Kilkenny. Said to be the church Cromwell missed, because it sits so low, hidden in a dip in the hills. But it's officially recorded as having been built circa 1800. But, perhaps there was a chapel here before that, who knows?
