Being Appreciated...

...goes a long way!

This morning, this beautiful, flowering plant was sitting on our table in our classroom with a card attached thanking us for all that we do on a daily basis.  Coffee and coffee cake was a treat before our students arrived....and a lunch was provided for us.  Yummy!

Given the fact that my student has decided that he will simply work straight through the day without any breaks so he can go home....it was so greatly appreciated in return!  He exhausted all  his activities/tasks/work and indicated that he was ready for home.  Hmmmm....well that is a problem when the bus does not arrive for another two hours.  Anyone who has worked with behavioural children know what the end result is.  We managed to get through the rest of the day without injury and I was able to forewarn mum so she  had backup at the house waiting.  I hope they get his meds sorted soon.  Dr appt on the 4th...so fingers are crossed.
