Commissioners' shack

This old shack is a heritage building in the Belair Park, and is where we held our monthly OGH Committee Meeting today. It was such a historic building, now restored, and following the meeting we enjoyed a wonderful shared lunch.

I have shown this building several years ago before it was repaired, having fallen into a state decrepidness! This shows a different angle.

The park shack was used by the Commissioners of Belair National Park mainly Professor John Cleland when he was a Commissioner in the 1920s and 1930s. The Cleland Wildlife Park was later named in his honour.
