I feel dirty...

Okay, so i went with something fairly different today...

As i work in IT, its my job to try to be on the ball with new software, releases etc, so as a result, i have a spare box i run new software on.

Now i've been running '7' for about 2 months now (my company are a microsoft gold partner, so we recieved our copy before the open beta...uh...opened) and i've been fairly impressed...

However, one of the issues i deal with daily, is that people buy Norton products to secure their computers, and it rarely does the job. But with windows 7, comes Symantec's oppertunity to release some new software, and so a beta of N360 3.0 was released....

Problem is, so far it has done the following:

- NOT crash
- NOT cause the machine to run like a dog
- STOP my attempt to install 'antivirusXP2009'
- NOT crash my browsers (despite plugins for both IE8 and FF3)

I think i'm going to have to go lay down...

My faith in humanity has been restored... Random BSODs refering to various Symantec services! Thank the lord, its another crap product...uninstalled!
