Trip to AJ

Hospital appointment again today, so my sister and I went down to take her and support her.

First noticed the bruise on her head - she said that she had had a fall in the night, early hours on Monday. She had been to the hospital yesterday as her eyes were playing up a bit. It they are ok.

She has made a complaint via PALs for her treatment (?!) following her injury to her arm. Contacted the NHS advocacy service for her for more support.

Appointment went well, had an x-ray which shows signs of the bone growing but her hand is still ineffective. Her arm keeps spasming, which she likens to what Tourette's may be like (no control). The consultant discussed the options again and she has decided on surgery, ideally before Christmas :)

Lovely lunch out in a local pub - good food, nice atmosphere. Bit of food shopping before dropping AJ back home.
