Shaw Thing

To the South Bank to catch Joanne Shaw Taylor, the brightest star in Britain’s blues rock firmament, at the Festival Hall.
A bit different to her first London gig 15 years ago. Then tickets were 50p, eight people turned up & her Dad made her give them their money back. “It was the right thing to do!”
The only disappointment tonight was that she didn’t play my favourite tune.
