Christmas cake

Cake baking day today!  The fruit has been sitting in brandy for a few days, and today was the day when there was time to make the cake and have time to bake it.  The year I foolishly thought I could do it in an evening after work ended in a very late night waiting for it to be ready.  

The eldest 'helped', I'm not sure how much help it was. 

Been a very strange day with everything going on in Zimbabwe, we've been a little bit glued to the news but of course time will tell what really happens.
