Looking back

There's an exhibition by our local History Society showing how our "new town" was accomplished back in 1970. Pictures showing destruction of many houses, Church and all the shops. Vandalism springs to mind, the heart of a small town ripped apart. I found it so sad, we were here when it happened so knew what it had been like.

A very dark day again but the Mill survives (protected thank goodness) and is the ideal place for this exhibition.
