Not underneath but through the arches

My turn to be on church lunch duty so before heading up to the church I had a walk through George Square where I watched the work being carried out on the Christmas lights which will be switched on on Sunday night.

These stone arches are in the street at the back of the Glasgow City Chambers.

Rather an unpleasant journey home in the bus with a drunk man in the seat behind me and for all of his journey and most of mine he was verbally abusive to me because I was reading a 'f......' book and if I was getting off at his stop I was in for 'doing'. When he eventually staggered down the aisle the elderly lady beside me breathed a sigh of relief and she wasn't alone!
