Peru

I bought the counters for this backgammon set in Peru in 2000. They're little ceramic beads that came from a jewellery shop in Cusco and they cost 2p each. I then made myself a board by knocking up a design on a piece of A4 and getting it laminated. This then got shoved in my rucksack for Australia a couple of weeks later.

I used to go away a lot back then.
Tonight I'm going nowhere.
