Today I bumped into local artist John Harrison. We hadn't met before but I had seen his work so I thought I’d find out a bit more. He is very talented, works hard on research and graphic layout, but what I found fascinating was his own view of his own work. He thinks of himself as a storyteller. And as he talked through some of his paintings they came to life in a new and unexpected way. Fabulous .... in so many ways. And he was ok with being photographed too. I didn't have my camera so ancient iPhone came to the rescue
