The Needles!

We went to Bournemouth today to see a man about some repairs to our 1970 Mk 2 Triumph Vitesse - as you do!  We then went to the cliffs above Boscombe and walked down along the prom to the pier.  The weather was calm and actually warm enough to have our fish and chips outside overlooking the beach!  Not bad for mid November.  This is the view over to the Isle of Wight and you might just be able to make out the Needles.  Everywhere seemed to be bathed in a gentle blue light - lovely.  It is 10 years to the day that my darling mother died and I was thinking about her all day.  Funnily enough, she had a Triumph Vitesse which I learned to drive in, and all our holidays when I was little were spent on the Isle of Wight so she was definitely around us today.
