Totally fascinating....

Christine and I had a wonderful few hours in The Design Museum, Kensington, this afternoon before meeting up with the boys for a long booked theatre visit.

Both having taught for a long time in Primary education and so across the whole curriculum, we really appreciated all the quotes and statements about design. How to motivate and create. Just amazing. The revolving wall panels at the entrance to the exhibitions changes from DESIGNER, MAKER and USER.So cleverly done. My photo is Christine looking at a huge display of things that have been designed to be of very practical use and that also hold special memories.  Fantastic. We stood for ages, just looking..with big smiles.

We kept our appointment with the boys and had a pre-theatre dinner in Cote..a tried and tested favourite. The theatre disappointed but the day has been more than good. A good train service too and we were home before midnight.
