I really didn't intend to quote Rabbie Burns again, especially as I am in Sussex, but he seems to follow me around...the quote was on the frame of this mirror in Standen House, along with a beautiful repousse design of peacocks.

Everything in this house is either beautiful or useful ( or both). I loved it. If you look carefully, you can see my Mum, Youngest Son, and my two little neices. ( and William Morris "trellis" wallpaper).
