My Mum caught the train up, to spend the day with me.

It was good, but I’d been awake since 3am and was exhausted. I tried sleeping in the afternoon, but couldn’t.

We spent the day reading and chatting and looking at food magazines.

Iain arrived home just before she left to catch her train.
