Over the Top!

Down to Plymouth with my friend Janet. A glorious winter day with the sun shinning nearly all day. Hadn't visited the City for years. Used the park and ride which was a godsend, takes all the stress out of the day. We walked from the centre down to the Royal William Yard, which is now an area for eating and galleries, although very quiet this time of year. After an excellent lunch of roasted scallops and prawns in the Barbican we made our way up to the Hoe, and the wonderful poppy display, overseen by the wonderful volunteers of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It is there until the 19th of this month.
