Day 318/17. The Blue Grotto, not so blue today....

This is the Blue Grotto, a cave system on the south west coast of Malta with some impressive caves full of, you guessed it.....blue waters.
But not today.......an on shore wind and squally showers meant the small boats to ferry the tourists around did not dare venture out.
The extra picture shows the loading steps where the little boats line up in the adjacent cove to be loaded with tourists for the small voyage into the cave.
But not today.......I suspect a totally different experience in the height of summer.
Still, the weather meant the view was unspoilt by small boats of tourists that would have needed to be cloned out.
