Mono Monday guilty pleasure

Today I left the house before daylight to pick up my folks, and drive them to Southern Oregon where they lived for 56 years. Their best friends live there still, the wife is very ill and we did want to put the trip off.

After leaving them at their friends I went to the nursing home that husband’s Mom was moved into a couple of weeks ago. I visited with her for awhile.

I am now meeting a friend I have known since third grade for dinner and will stay at their home for the evening. Back home tomorrow.

I may not get to everyone’s journal tonight. Oh yes guilty pleasure is stealing away in nature for a walk. Maybe wine and chocolate are close seconds.
